same medium condition.
2. Corrosion resistance: UHMWPE is a saturated molecule bond structure, so it has very high chemical stability, and can bear corrosion by various corrosive media (acid, alkali and salt) and organic
solvents within certain temperature and concentration range.
3. High impact resistance: UHMWPE pipe has the best impact resistance and impact energy absorption in plastics, and it isn't easy to break under outside strong pressure or inside pressure
fluctuation. Its impact strength is 10 times of that of nylon 66, and is 4 times of that of polyethylene PE100.
4. Outstanding tensile strength and bearing capacity: Tensile strength of UHMWPE pipe is 2 times
of that of PE100, and its environmental stress crack resistance is over 1 times of that of PE100.
Therefore, bearing capacity and environmental damage resistance of UHMWPE pipe much exceed those of normal polyethylene pipe.
5. Small weight, easy connection and convenient installation: Unit length weight of UHMWPE pipe is only 1/8 of that of steel pipe, this brings convenience to loading, unloading, transportation, installation and use. Its connection uses flange connection or hot melting welding.
6. Economic performance: Price of UHMWPE pipe is lower than that of traditional steel pipe, by
comprehensive comparison of various factors such as low fraction coefficient, large circulation
capacity, high impact strength, corrosion resistance, wearing resistance and weather resistance, its performance-price ratio much exceeds other plastic pipes and steel pipes.
